I hope you will all read the linked article. Is this a good thing for our country? What would happen if we accepted our diverse political views but agreed on common values… such as paying one’s fair share. Health care for children. Pregnancy prevention. Living wages.

What if the surface spin of one party or both parties doesn’t hold up? Can we find common ground and work together to change our culture dynamic?

My husband (an amazing father and a middle school teacher) often told me that once you get locked in a power struggle ‘you lose’. I have seen amazing results over the years from someone that knows how to step around power struggles and rise above them.

Barack Obama is smart, grounded and has a wealth of resources. With our help I believe he may have the ability to begin the process of realigning our government to move it back in the direction of ‘for the people’. It’s time for us all to look toward a bigger picture, take this risk (Obama) and begin to change.

We don’t have to wait for election. Just for today we can look at our own foot print, our own communication styles, or own personal monetary policies and begin the change. We can do this together.

If you are looking to build on your own communication skill sets you may want to check out:

Pneumonia – Last Tuesday we got ‘the call’. Phil’s dad was in a critical care unit down near Los Angeles. About two hours later we were in our car heading south.

Fred is 82. Two weeks ago he was riding motorcycles and walking two miles a day. It’s been a touch week for him in ICU however things are finally looking up. We are all anxiously waiting for him to be respirator free. Please keep him in your heart.
